Good, as always This has to be hands-down the best breakfast around. This place is a Ft Worth staple with good food at great prices. The portions are huge and the price is right. The new owner has made a few staff changes, which only makes this place better. Ol' South is always busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait on the weekend.

Big appetites welcome My in-laws come here every weekend so we decided to try it out. We ordered a couple different dishes and were amazed at the portions. I thought the biscuits and gravy would be just a side dish but they literally take up an entire plate on their own. Great food for a great price.

Good I went there for the first time the other night. It is like an IHOP or Waffle House. The food was good. The place was really busy...breakfast is the best.

Good Food This place serves good food and it is rather historic. It is one of those places that when you are seated you often are sat at a table that already has people sitting there. It is like one long table. If you are down for trying something new, try the German cakes. They are lemon, but surprisingly very good. It is one of their specialties. The food is well priced. It is open 24 hours so a great alternative to Ihop or Whataburger after a night out.
