I spoke with Steve and made arrangements for him to come look at a project at my house. He let me know he was on the way to look at it. I texted to see if he made it and what he thought. I received no response so I texted again the following week. I also left a voicemail. I texted again a third time still with no response.
Steve and his crew added on a set of stairs and privacy walls to an existing deck I have. He is super responsive and responded to an email inquiry I sent. Excellent craftsmanship and overall great experience working with them. You can tell they care about the work they are doing. Would absolutely recommend them.
I TOO was completely ghosted by Steve. And this, after I complained to him about the worthless tradesmen here in Saint Augustine that do lousy work and don’t get back to you with a bid. Two texts, two emails…crickets. Comical really. My project was too creative, ambitious and above his skill sets. If you need simple faucets changed or a toilet bowl wax seal replaced, this contractor is for you. Good luck…
We had Steve come out on 4/27/22 to give us an estimate on remodeling 2 bathrooms at our condo in St Augustine. He spent about 30 minutes with us going over what we wanted done. He seemed very nice and thorough. Steve said they could handle the job no problem and we indicated that provided the estimate looked good we would like to have Proper T handle the renovation in October-November of 2022 depending on his availability. The owner, Steve, came for a remodeling estimate and seemed excited about the job. He told me he’d be back to inspect a leak he found the following day to include this in his estimate. He text me the following day and said he’d need to reschedule for later that afternoon. Then he ghosted me. No responses to my very concerned texts. -are you still able to come? are you okay?
