Rachel is the absolute best. She takes the time to understand our daughter’s vision and makes it come to life! Her haircuts are always fantastic and the application of tinsel in our daughter’s hair far exceeds expectation every time!!

Rachel is running an outstanding salon. After my first visit I knew I’d be coming back. She is super talented, extremely knowledgeable, and really prioritizes your goals. I have long fine hair and it’s not easy to deal with but she made me feel comfortable through the whole process and my hair is looking and feeling the best it ever has. Do not miss out on her wash and scalp massage!
Rachel runs an absolutely amazing salon. She is not only extremely talented but also kind, inclusive, friendly, and supportive. During the early stages of my transition, I worried about finding a salon where I would be welcomed for who I am. When I walked into Proper Salon, all of those worries instantly evaporated. I had such an affirming and inspiring experience and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I’ve been going to Rachel for the last 10 years. I think that is a true testament to how much I appreciate her ability in treating a client right. Not only is she skilled but is also thoughtful, and caters to your vision. Having said that, she has the right balance and approach in giving you her professional feedback as needed and/or solicited.
