James and his entire team at Proper Painting did an amazing job painting our home. The project was finished in a timely manner, and the work was absolutely meticulous. James even went above and beyond by helping me salvage a DIY project that I had started, which now is a beautiful part of our home.
James and crew did an excellent job; did what they said, when they said, and at a reasonable price with excellent communication throughout. I had a fairly large deck refinished and stained and it looks outstanding. It’s clear James and crew take pride in their work and are very careful with making sure your property is respected. I called Proper Painting for an estimate to restain my deck, and James got back to me in a timely fashion. He came to look at the deck and gave what I felt was a fair price. He recommended Benjamin Moore solid stain, and suggested Herzog Paints in Latham for paint samples. I was pleased that I was added to the schedule for early September. His crew came and BLASTED the deck clean, allowing it to dry for a few days. They did some sanding and then patiently and thoroughly painted the deck on a very hot day. James and his team did a wonderful job staining my daughters deck! James communicated throughout the whole process; was very thorough explaining all the steps. James kept me or and/or my daughter posted with progress, answered all of our questions. James was extremely conscientious in masking off all areas and safeguarding personal property. I can’t thank James enough such a good job and I would highly recommend James and Proper Painting for any job! Thank you.
