Price is competitive and turnaround time is reasonable. The quality of proofreading is variable, which is understandable given that most jobs are done by freelancers. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 stars because the customer service was not helpful. When contacting them about issues, they were either defensive or simply ignored your messages.

I was looking for English-speaking proofreaders to proofread a translation of a book from French to English. I did not want Artificial Intelligence but real human beings and I found Proofreading Pal. They followed my instructions, provided smart and pertinent comments/suggestions, and showed care, interest and professionalism. Will definitely contract with them again. From start to finish, they provided white-glove service. 5 well-deserved stars.
