They made us pay a surcharge of nearly €40, which is completely unacceptable if we weren’t informed about it before the meal began. If you charge an extra fee for large groups, you should tell customers before they sit down, not spring it on them at the end of the meal. Customers deserve to know about any additional charges upfront, not be hit with unexpected fees when the bill arrives.
