We built a small ADU studio to use for extra income, and the whole process was very smooth. Guy and the team were easy to work with and communicated well throughout. Everything stayed on schedule and within budget, which made things stress-free. They also took care of the city requirements and permits in Richmond, CA, which was a huge help. Overall, the process was straightforward and we’re happy with how it turned out.
This company gave me an estimate for my ADU, and the price they quoted upfront was exactly what I was hoping for. The owner, Jordan, responded right away to all my questions—he’s very kind and professional. I will definitely refer him to all my friends who need an ADU.

Promodeling is an excellent company, and I highly recommend them. Patricia was very helpful in scheduling and confirming our first appointment. They offered us a free estimate, and due to the complexity of our problem, the estimator came back a few days later with the owner. Guy personally came and spent a long time understanding exactly what happened to our house and what we wanted to fix. The second visit was also free. My experience with Promodeling was terrible. Had them do a large addition and it took a year longer than promised. Guy kept hitting me with change orders that didn't make sense. One time he wanted $2000 upfront and wouldn't even tell me what it was for until after I paid. Turns out it was just for him answering questions from a sub. I wasn't even allowed to talk to the subs directly. Eventually had to get an attorney involved, and Guy's response was to charge me for his time dealing with my lawyer.
