A friend of mine was discharged from this facility, and while I understand that patients are sometimes discharged, the way his discharge was handled was deeply concerning. He is from Houston and struggles with mental health challenges. He was discharged in College Station without a charged phone, without safe transportation, and without his family being properly notified. As a result, he was left to sleep on the streets while his family desperately searched for him and ultimately had to involve law enforcement to locate him.... read more

This facility is not capable of caring for any human being. This place unsafely discharged my brother to the streets of College Station, without proper transportation back to Houston where he resides. My brother was left onto the streets, without a way to contact family to get him home. I had to file a missing report with the College Station police department who later located my brother who has an extensive history of mental illness.
