USMLE step 1 cancelled 24h before the exam, it is an 8 hours exam it takes months of preparation and years of training. Unprofessional
Decent prometric center. Staff are friendly and efficient. Lots of parking. I showed up around 8:30am on Friday and Saturday and they were already open so I could start early. Lockers are 1 square foot. No break room or fridge but there are some chairs in the waiting room you can sit in during breaks.
Some of the staff can use some additional training!! For example, I saw a tall, thin, middle aged, male proctor hit a guy in the face with his metal detector when he was checking in after a break mid-test, and he somehow laughed it off and blamed the guy for leaning forward?! Also, he served THREE people who had not even checked into their exams yet before clearing me to go back into my exam during one of my limited (and timed) break times! Outrageous!
