I've been donating twice almost every week for over a year now. The staff are the closest people I can call to friends in this loathsome city and going to the plasma centre left me with a sense of purpose and a place where I felt safe in. It was the only place I had where I didn't feel like I needed to keep my guard up all the time. The Plasma Centre is currently closed. I know the reason, I read the news.
