Got a referral here from my doctor and when I called to schedule, they refused me service because I’ve had other GI doctors before and they “don’t do second opinions”. I tried to explain and the lady on the phone would not listen to me at all. I’m very upset and would not recommend this practice.
I was given a referral by my doctor (another Promedica physician) several moths ago and left SEVERAL messages and not once did I ever get a return call. You would think that they would get the referral electronically as well and reach out to me. Very disappointed, will be looking at another practice all together.
Their "Infusion center" is four chairs and two desks crammed into what used to be a conference room. I do not believe they have enough room or wherewithal to deal with any sort of adverse reaction. Susan and Amy, the primary infusion nurses at this location, left much to be desired, getting flustered when three patients finished treatment at the same time. Expect NO privacy, and to be waiting for hours (that's if you're lucky- I had to wait 6 days after my scheduled appointment due to them using the medication ordered for me... read more
