Prom Wildlife Walk - Prime Spot for Kangaroos and Emus! This is an absolute MUST-DO walk right near the entrance of Wilsons Promontory National Park. It's a super easy, flat 2.3km loop across open grasslands, perfect for all ages and mobility levels. The reason to visit, however, is the wildlife. We were incredibly lucky and had multiple sightings of kangaroos and emus grazing on the plains! Loved this walk! Super easy and peaceful — perfect if you want to spot wildlife without doing a big hike. We saw heaps of kangaroos, emus and even a few wombats just grazing in the open fields. The trail is flat and well-marked, great for all fitness levels. Go around sunset for the best chance to see animals up close (and to catch the prettiest light over the hills). Bring a camera and some patience — it’s such a magical part of the Prom. 🦘🌿
