I am a veteran and returning student to Ohio University now pursuing my BA and MA in history. In a college town it is tough to find a decent off-campus rental. To this end I was fortunate to work with Prokos rentals and I now have a comfortable three-bedroom apartment walking distance from classes. What has made the experience truly enjoyable is their professional maintenance which has been incredibly attentive making all types of repairs
So, I have lived with Prokos for about 7 months and have had nothing but bad experiences with them. First of all, they overcharge SO much for very low quality houses and apartments. We pay almost $550 a month per person for a house that has walls caving in, windows falling out, furnaces catching on fire, doors that they couldn't even put on the hinges, ceiling tiles full of black mold, and the list could go on and on and on.
