Dr Prohow took the time to ask me about how I am really doing. She’s goes above and beyond any physician I have ever had.
After decades of undiagnosed multiple sclerosis, Dr Prohow took the time to listen to me and my medical history. After my initial meet with her, she sent me to the proper specialists in order to obtain a diagnosis. While receiving treatment for ms she continues to work in concert with my Nuerologist on my continued care. Without her care and diligence I would still be undiagnosed... thank you dr. P!
Dr. J Prohow was nice in the beginning. She tends to have you see the Nurse Practitioners. Continuity of care is lost when you see too many practitioners. Unnecessary tests are ordered having the patient pay out of pocket. When I do see her she forgets who I am !!! The medical assistance are argumentative, and often give wrong messages. Disappointing
Dr. Prohow was attentive when I was a new patient. After several years, her attitude changed. She appeared bored and indifferent during my visits. She was never available to speak to me when I called her office with a health concern. Always pawned me off on her assistant or the receptionist. She doesn't call when my lab results are in, forcing me to track them down with her office staff. She seems more interested in family medicine, especially children. Dr. Prohow is amazing-- I have always had a handful of health battles that she has helped keep under control. This past year has been especially complicated and she has gone above and beyond to provide comprehensive care and work with all of the specialists handling my tricky and sometimes dangerous medical situations. She consistently advocates for the best care for me. Her high level of expertise and warm personality has helped me feel at ease when I'm struggling the most. I can't speak highly
Excellent with babies, kids and adults. I am so happy we found her. This office is busy, but they can usually get you in if you call in the morning. Their after hours line is vey prompt and helpful.
