wasn't thrilled when i was sick after 3 weeks and wanted to get evaluated back in 2021. was told they were short staffed and 3 months out for them to see me. discourgaged i did not go back except for a yearly physical which was also bare minimum and disapointing. 4 years later i did a 3 minute zoom call which i thought was more of a courtesy call before i get a generic perscription but that led to an expesnive bill that my insurance company would not cover,. i ussually don't do reviews but this past bill is a joke/scam in my... read more
Another excellent appt with Dr.Laporte. He was present and listened
This place has gone downhill fast. Ive had to spend an entire weekend without my mental health meds because the doctor couldn't be bothered to send in my refill on time despite me calling multiple times. Now after an entire weekend of panic attacks im STILL waiting on my medication. They've had multiple doctors quit the practice and its time for me to start looking for a new pcp who cares for their patients. I get dr Laporte is swamped but this is just ridiculous.
I waited 11 months to see Dr. Crowley When I finally did he seemed uninterested. I found out why on my follow up exam when I went to get blood drawn that he no longer worked there. I was never notified and they have no doctor to replace him so I am stuck in limbo for another year waiting to see another doctor. Run from here, they are part of the problem with health care today. Find a doctor with you in mind not the money.
My family and myself have been with pro health in Colchester CT even when it was Colchester family practice before pro health took over the family practice. I have been a patient there since 1985. Each of my children were treated as they were born from Dr Boxwell or Dr Laporte instead of having a pediatrician. I had a pediatrician for my first child and was not happy with the care they gave my baby.
