Provider was perfect. The front desk staff was ridiculous. I waited 50 minutes in the waiting room until I overheard the front desk talking about me out loud. They were discussing my electronic referral which had not gone through yet from my PCP. I then confronted them about my referral and was confused why I had to wait nearly an hour to be informed. I have visited this location twice in the past month. I met with Dr. Courtney Lee the first time. She was very amicable and knowledgeable, working with me to try to diagnose my issues. She scheduled a test and I met with Nurse Vivian Norman for the test on my second visit. Nurse Norman was nothing short of amazing. She was jovial form the start and made me feel completely at ease regarding the test. We conversed throughout the procedure like we have been friends for years. The entire Lake Success office is wonderful. Such nice caring people! I was so nervous and worried about my kidney procedure and although painful , everyone put me at ease as much as possible. I was in the best of hands with Dr. Edelman. He is the best Dr I ever had. Perfectly took care of my kidney stone and prescribed all necessary medication to alleviate the pain as much as possible. Worst experience I've ever had at a doctors office. I've never been more scared in my life. A few people at the front desk were nice but the rest of them are some of the rudest people I've ever encountered in a medical setting. Completely self centered and unaware of how to treat patients. My experience in Urology was new...My doctor, Dr. Nejat was very pleasant and patient.. My MA Doreen was a professional and was very attentive to my needs. She held my hand throughout a not so bad experience. Thanks Doreen continue to be who you are as an MA.
