NORTHWELL INSURED PATIENTS BEWARE! I had a procedure performed. Specifically asked staff to send any lab work to a Northwell lab and not to Quest. 3 weeks later I get a bill from Quest for $300. I called Optum 4 times and 5 emails later they told me that they dont use any other labs other than Quest and their affiliates. My doctor was a Northwell and Optum doctor but I was specific in my instructions to the useless OPTUM staff before I went in for the procedure.
