Checked in yesterday and was seen within five minutes. Dr. Berger and the staff were responsive and thorough, problem was quickly diagnosed and treatment plan was discussed with me. The ultrasound technician was covering two Prohealth facilities on Sat (expected since this is a community hospital system) and had an unexpected high caseload at the other facility but arrived as quickly as she could to get that done. As soon as I was in a room, a host of individuals came to work on me. My veins are hard to find, but there were two skilled staff members who started the i.v. and drew blood at the same time; they got the lines in the first time! They were all kind, attentive and competent. I felt immediately at ease. The respiratory therapist, x-ray tech. and nurse all worked quickly and efficiently. I took my mom to Mukwonago ER because we had good experiences in the past when it was a new hospital. This time it was literally like going back to Waukesha Memorial. Long three hour wait, very unfriendly staff, the nurses were very rude, receptionist walked into the room right in the middle of the visit asking for her debit card for payment!
