We’ve been going to Dr. Dixon for over 8 years. Not sure how i have failed to write a review. He’s always been thorough, encouraging, understanding, and pushing for my son to improve. Med adjustments, behavior modification, etc. he’s been our rock. We are thankful for him & his practice.
We have had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Dixon all the way back to 2015. He has literally changed our lives. Our son looks forward to seeing him each and every time and Dr. Dixon is by far his favorite doctor. Yes, it’s expensive because he doesn’t take insurance, but for us it’s worth every single penny. Dr. Dixon is warm and welcoming, supportive and challenging, and most importantly respectful of the child/parent dynamic. Amazing
Very knowledgeable and Informed. However, I have been extremely put off by the “business” aspect of the service provided. Yes, it is a business but it seems like that takes precedent over helping patients. My child was a patient of Dr. Dixon and he offered great suggestions and advice. However, it was very difficult to get a prescription for my child filled or even contact the office. Emails were not also returned or received. If I could give no stars, I would. I was a patient of Dr.Dixon, and while at first I found him to be welcoming and easy to talk to, I now know his true colors. He told me- someone who has now been DIAGNOSED with BPD (Borderline personality disorder) and was open about having other friends and family with BPD- that people with BPD are “insufferable” and there is “no hope for them.” He told me AND mother (i was only 16 at the time!) that he refuses patients with BPD because he doesn’t like them.
