the doctor seemed competent enough, staff was friendly and courteous, I went as a follow up to an E.R. visit after an accident left me with four broken ribs, the E.R. had prescribed pain medication that worked, the doctor here said he couldn't prescribe me a pain reliever in light of current situation, really? The doctors and pharmaceutical companies have made their millions off of creating a opioid epidemic peddling to junkies, but I have to take tylenol and ibuprofen for 4 busted ribs, remain in misery , not able to sleep,... read more

Not only Dr Kaiwi is an excellent Doctor and listener, he has worked with me regarding my co payments. He listens, and helps with your issues. I am on disability, with a mortgage, and sometimes it is hard for me to pay the co pay. They will work with you.. The staff is awesome! Today I told them that I had to go to the food bank for food, which for me was the hardest and most embarrassing thing I have ever had to do. Guess what? Practitioner Jennifer Krome was the best thing that they had. She was well organized , friendly, caring, and trustworthy. I had been seeing her along with my husband and after his passing. I was shocked when I went for my check up and was told she no longer works there due to family reasons, I beg to differ. After her sudden departure that office was in shambles. When Jennifer Krome APRN Hilo last a good practitioner. When she left, the quality of care and efficiency of the office plummeted. Prescriptions were either not sent, or were messed up; lab and xray requisitions took 3 or more phone calls to get through, and when calling the office it rang and rang, no answer and no answering machine. Poor customer care all around, and we changed PCPs because of the total lack of concerne.

I've always received excellent service. When I request anything regarding my health, the staff is ready to help me. They are respectable and personable. Thank you for your wonderful service.
