I’d give them a zero if I could. I filed a claim and ended up not needing any help. When I called to close the claim it had already been done by the agent. Turns up the they changed a few things without letting me know and charged my account for an extra $500. It took a few phone call to even find out why and when I asked for a refund they said no. What kind of service is this. They can take as much of my money as they want and then keep it!?!?!
I have no idea how this office processes claims. If I could leave feedback to Progressive Nationally, I'd give them ZERO stars. Their website doesn't work for adding cars to your policy, not sure why they pretend it does. It took over 30 minutes to put together a policy and enter in the details of the new car. Then after giving me the payment info for the next year, they gave me a message that I'd have to call in to discuss. Car broke down this morning, tried to request roadside assistance. It charged me $130.22 to even look for a tow truck and "searched" for 20-30 minutes without matching me with a tow truck, before finally giving me an ETA of 60 minutes. I ended up calling a tow truck company myself, they only charged me $113 and were loading my car within 20 minutes. Only giving 3 stars because I was processed a refund that she promised would be in my account within 24-48 hours.
Quite literally the scummiest insurance company to exist. Called to cancel 11 days before my policy ended. Never cancelled. They ended up contacting the DMV and suspended my license. Even though I bought new insurance the day I left progressive. Thanks progressive!! Happy scamming!
