Our remodel wasn’t about touchups; it was about making things work better. Ron and Arik recommended a full rework of our traffic paths. The fridge moved to a recessed cabinet wall, and we eliminated the peninsula to open the room. They rebuilt the island with a prep sink and trash pull-out. We also added LED lighting and new flooring throughout the kitchen and dining area. It feels more open now, and everything is finally in the right spot.

Wanted a game room and lounge for our teen kids so they'd have a place to hang out with friends. Arik's team worked on a full kitchen remodel and layout flip. They moved the sink to face the backyard, shifted the range wall, and removed two flanking columns, opening up a direct path to the dining room. We added a large island with bar seating and new task lighting throughout. Cabinets were done in white oak veneer with flush hardware. The kitchen functions better now and feels like part of the rest of the home.

The home totaled 5,600 sq. ft. and included six bedrooms, a home office, and a double-height entry with clerestory windows. The design called for large open spans, and instead of defaulting to steel everywhere, Ron brought in a framing plan that used LVLs where possible to reduce cost without compromising strength. The form boards were laid out correctly on the first go, and the framing team kept a clear p... read more
