I was a resident that had to be transferred to another facility because of PHAs decision to end their contract with DOC. After I was transferred I realized the staff really cared about the lives of residents and made efforts to engage with them beyond being staff. Resident here barely getting fed properly. Maintenance is horrible. Wall sockets are loose. None of the windows are on the tracks. Showers are 1/8 pressure of what they are supposed to be.. trash trash trash...

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT I left a negative review if this facility under the previous management by the Progress House Association. I am updating my star rating, as I have no desire to affect the success of the facility and the DOC program. *previous comment in brackets: [This may not be the best choice for many. I have read the other reviews and they are unfortunate. Also, they do not reflect the feelings of over 16,000+ former residents that have transitioned to a better life because of this program. As a work-release, I expect residents to complain when they are sent back or infracted but my hope is that others will also share their experiences both positive and negative so the readers have a fuller picture.
