Professor Nathan Lawrentschuk is the most perceptive and caring person that can lift your spirits as he can see what his patient is going through and instills great confidence. Nathan is an absolute professional. From the first interview, he explained things in great detail that I could understand. I had a Professor in where I live in Geelong who was as blunt and black and white as you could find. It terrified me as I wanted to save potential nerves that a man doesn't want to lose. My husband had major surgery in Launceston, however; the procedure could not be completed in Tasmania & he had to be airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Private Hospital. Professor Lawrentschuk was one of two surgeons that undertook the complex operation to remove the remaining cancer. My husband spent 3 weeks recovering before he was able to fly back to Tasmania. Nathan was a dedicated and friendly surgeon and was heavily involved in my post-op care as well. He always made time for me and is great guy as well. I feel very lucky to have had him operate on me. His admin team was excellent also. Cannot recommend Nathan and his team highly enough.
I have been a patient of Nathan's for the last 15 years or so and could not be more happy with him. I have had a number of operations in that time and have never felt that Nathan was anything but extremely competent and he also has an excellent bedside manner. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a urologist.
