I have seen Professor Levya-Leon in Cardiology a couple of times now. He has a most kind and caring manner and is a very experienced and professional member of the Spire team. He always fully investigates my concerns and puts me at ease. Not only is he a Professor in Cardiology, but also has a wealth of medical experience which recently enabled him to diagnose another condition promptly for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
On behalf of my grandad - As a private patient of Dr Leyva, I found him to have a pleasant personality, polite and efficient. We thoroughly discussed my recent problem of suspected Angina. In July 2025, I had 2 appointments with Professor Leyva-Leon as I was concerned that my heart needed to be checked following a slightly concerning episode and a history of having an irregular heartbeat. At our first meeting he was extremely understanding of my concerns and very thorough in explaining to me the procedures he felt I required to fully assess my condition. I’ve been a patient of Professor Leyva-Leon since 2016 when I was fitted with an ICD.The procedures were thoroughly explained and subsequent treatment superb. Indeed the treatment throughout and the continued aftercare has been exemplary and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any prospective patient.

He has the ability to explain as required to a point of understanding that is appreciated. I gain confidence in his judgment and happy on his diagnosis and prognosis.
