Laura the practise manager is incredible, she was so compassionate to me when I was desperate for help. The wonderful lady that did my tests was also so kind and made me feel so comfortable. They do the tests there and then, onsite it’s so good. Prof Maher is fantastic, no mucking around, so impressive. Caring, funny, very good at what he does. Great experience from first appointment through to final check up. Professor Maher was empathetic and professional through my whole experience with bladder prolapse repair. The staff in his office are so lovely, don’t put off having your problems sorted, it will change your life.

Unfortunately I am one of the 20000 women Australia-wide suffering from complications from the use of J&J mesh in pelvic surgery. Please research your options fully before allowing Prof Maher to use mesh where alternatives are available. Check out forums on social media for open and honest dialogue from those now dealing with horrific injuries from pelvic mesh implantation. I have been blessed to have Professor Maher operate on me twice in the past seven weeks, both planned procedures. He is a meticulous and brilliant surgeon. I chose to trust him with my care after a lot of reading. He helped me work through what I wanted and needed, to achieve the best outcome.
