Dr. Shepherd saved my life. This coming Feb. 29th will be my 20th. year of remission from prostate cancer. Dr. Shepherd talked me into a PSA test as I was going to be 50 in a few days. I had no symptoms of any kind. Turns out, I was already in stage 3 prostate cancer! I was informed that it was a pretty aggressive form of cancer. Had I waited another year my diagnosis would have been very different. He truly saved my life.
I have been going to see Dr. Shepherd for 6+ years now, and I think he's a great doctor. First time I went to the office he works at, which has several other doctors, I felt very comfortable. I went in with a big issue I was having as a new patient, and honestly was pretty scared about. Upon meeting me he made me feel like a human he wanted to help, he got to know me a little bit and asked about my lifestyle, job etc so he could understand better.
