Roger replaced our sand base with vermiculite then installed a new liner, filter and pump. We talked at length about several other issues like the cracked concrete around the pool, poor placement of the jets, etc. While these things will eventually need to be addressed he never tried to pressure me into anything that wasn't immediately needed and was very knowledgeable about his trade.
