RecommendedI rarely write reviews, but I HAVE to for the amazing Healthy Hounds! I cannot recommend Healthy Hounds more! I wish I could give this place a 10!! If you are interested in finding an extraordinary daycare for your loving dog, I can help you. I highly recommend Healthy Hounds Doggie Daycare. It is the cleanest daycare I have ever seen. They hide nothing because they want you to feel that your dog is in a clean, safe, and caring environment. If there is a bladder or bowel sighting it immediately gets cleaned and disinfected. My wife and I love Healthy Hounds! Rachel really cares about the dogs and goes above and beyond everyday. She works very hard and is always sending pictures of the dogs playing and writes a report card when we pick him up of what our pup did that day! I don’t think our little guy would ever leave and if he could stay everyday he totally would! If you are looking for a safe place for your dog to have a fun time I recommend Healthy Hounds. They have been great for us for a really long time.
When I got a new job in Salem I was nervous about finding a place to bring my precious pup. Rachel and everyone at healthy hounds are absolutely wonderful and truly like a second home to my dog. Not only do they treat the dogs at daycare with amazing love and attention, they also do fundraisers throughout the year to support local shelters. Kimchi ges so excited when we turn into the parking lot and runs towards the door every day. Healthy Hounds is great! Rachel and all the other employees take good care of the dogs and will always keep the owner informed of any happenings related to their dog. My Ellie’s favorite time of the week are the two days she goes to play with her friends. She knows in the morning that day is a “school day.” Ellie comes home well rested and happy. Healthy Hounds makes great efforts to keep each dog happy, healthy, and safe.

I don't know what we would do without Healthy Hounds! Rachel and her team provide a level of care that makes you feel lucky to be a part of their doggie daycare family. They bring an attention to detail and a fun sense of humor to all they do. Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, Birg, started with 2 half days/week at 5 months, and quickly increased to 5 days/week.
