Rating for billing department alone. Looking at previous reviews, it seems to be their norm to either threaten collections with their first bill sent or send directly to collections without previous billing. I just received my FIRST bill from this company and it states I’m over 30 days behind and to pay immediately with the threat of sending to collections. I’d recommend removing “professional” from your title because your company is the furthest thing from it.
I received ER care on 10/23/23. VA will pay the entire bill as I am a veteran . At the time of services I gave the authorization number ,from VA , to them in order for them to submit the claim and get paid . Today, 6/26/24, I received a letter in the mail from a collection agency for services from them on that date, claiming that I owe $1,475.00. They outsource billing and their help line. The hospital I was served at couldn't even confirm the bill I was sent from a third-party. The whole billing process and related customer service is extremely fishy. Hopefully their business is short lived because their customer service and billing is atrocious.
Today, I took my wife to the ER. She was having a weak and thready pulse, diaphoretic, light headed, and having pressure in her chest. All the symptoms that lead one to be concerned of a potential heart problem. Now, here’s the thing, I’m a doctor right here in Fort Wayne. I dropped her off at the ER entrance. There’s 4 people right inside the door, not one of them asks us if we need help ok fine no problem I’ll go park the truck.
