Disgusting company. They double charge you as a way to help insurance companies. Would be like taking your car to the the mechanic and being billed by the shop and then being billed again by the mechanic disgraceful. I dont understand how these people sleep at night. EDIT: You can say its standard billing practice all you want. I was billed for the services I recieved at the ER. I overpaid my bill by $900. It's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund check. I've called twice in 4 weeks and still don't have an answer as to when I will receive my $900 refund.
They outsource their calls. Can’t understand the person on the other end. Wouldn’t take our daughter’s insurance information over the phone unless they got a verbal from her. I told them she is in high school and he proceeded to ask me to call her really quick! Yes they are definitely outsourcing.
Unfortunately, I’ve had to use the services of the ER and be admitted to the hospital quite a few times in the past few years. On two occasions, I’ve been “treated” by providers who decided they didn’t believe my well documented medical history, patronized me, and ultimately refused to treat me.
