Today, I took my wife to the ER. She was having a weak and thready pulse, diaphoretic, light headed, and having pressure in her chest. Disgusting company. They double charge you as a way to help insurance companies. Would be like taking your car to the the mechanic and being billed by the shop and then being billed again by the mechanic disgraceful. I dont understand how these people sleep at night. EDIT: You can say its standard billing practice all you want. I was billed for the services I recieved at the ER. I overpaid my bill by $900. It's been 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund check. I've called twice in 4 weeks and still don't have an answer as to when I will receive my $900 refund.
They outsource their calls. Can’t understand the person on the other end. Wouldn’t take our daughter’s insurance information over the phone unless they got a verbal from her. I told them she is in high school and he proceeded to ask me to call her really quick! Yes they are definitely outsourcing.
