Sadly, I got the addict treatment as well. When I tried to explain that I didn't want my meds changed, I got yelled at. She seemed more concerned about losing her license than anything else. Some of don't enjoy being psychotropic lab rats.
IF I could give less than a 1 star than I would. I am a veteran with 100% disability. I choose to use Tricare doctors because my disability is so severe. She's in my network so I went to see if she would take over the meds I have been prescribed for almost 10 years. My old mental health facility dropped Tricare. This woman immediately treated me like a drug seeking criminal. I had my service dog and wife with me so I don't know why she treated me such. I just said these are what my prior docs prescribed me. She's an appalling doctor. She's dismissive about her patients concerns. She's unprofessional in how she speaks to patients and is unwilling to look for other options when one medication isn't working. She has no interest in supporting her patients. After two years I've finally decided to look for another doctor
I waited 6 months to get into this dr. I really really needed this appointment. Today the morning of my appointment this Dr’s staff calls me to let me know that the DR is out sick and that we will have to reschedule. I was upset because I’ve been waiting so long and was hopeful to finally have an appointment. Well the staff let me know that the dr isn’t scheduling again until JULY!!!!! I must find a more concerned doctor for my mental health. The sessions are about 30 min, 15-20min of which are waiting for the doctor to come online. Once in session, two to three questions asked and your on your way. When it’s time for refills there’s always a problem, often resulting in not having meds when needed daily (per Dr.). God forbid the nurse is out, the rude person who answers the phone simply states’I can’t help you, call back tomorrow. God please help me find a better doctor and care team because this ain’t it.... read more
