Do not see this man, even if he was the last dr on earth. I'm epileptic and on Lamictal specifically for my seizures and NOT for any psych issues. On our first visit, he told me the dose of lamictal was too high and he was lowering it. I told him that he isn't touching that medication without my neurologist approval, so he got pissy. Even his colleagues can't stand him.

I have mdd and a lot of other stuff wrong. I've been seeing him for 9 years. He refused to give me medicine.....not bad meds....celexa. he refused to give me an antidepressant. He does not listen to his patients. He has no sensitivity toward a person who has mental illness. And if you want to get worse...go to Gunda....u will end up killing urself. I found a new psychiatrist. Stopped seeing Gunda. He called the police on me and tried to have me committed to a mental hospital. This was many years ago. The update is new.Just b... read more

SHAME ON THEM!!! I was seeing Gil Torres for 14 years and never ever an issue with my prescriptions nor office staff. The past several months I have been having issues filling just 1 of the 4 prescriptions he prescribes me. Trying to remedy this I call Fidelity and was told the office MANAGER DENIED my antidepressant. I ask if office staff has the okay to deny that as I will have an episode if I run out.
