Called to pay off a debt that they had on my credit report when I spoke to the woman there she tried to tell me I owed over 2000 when my bill that they were reporting on my credit was just under 1400. The woman laughed at me when I asked why they were only reporting the one of 1400 on my credit when they are now claiming I owe over 2000. She tried to tell me that there were 4 accounts and all the accounts were from the same date. I received a call from Shawna in Kenosha informing me that I have a debt. When I asked her to elaborate as I am not aware of it, she grew impatient, and answered my question rudely and abruptly, and it was very clear she had no idea what she was talking about nor any idea what the debt was for. She then sent me an email with very brief details that it is for a hospital bill with my ex husband as the creditor with no further information what the hospital bill was for. I received paperwork stating they were in charge of a past due medical bill. I spoke to one of their employees on the phone over a week ago, and still no return phone call. We are willing to make payments, but unfortunate we can not unless we have our consumer number. Emails have also been sent and still NO RESPONSE! I feel like the usually the debt collector is the one trying to get ahold of the debt owner. Answer my requests!
