I can’t say enough about Prof Kohan. It’s three months since my fairly complicated hip surgery. I’m back at work driving a truck around Sydney doing pick-ups and delivery. Very happy with the operation, the team and Doctor Kerr. I would like to wish him well in retirement, he will be greatly missed.
Will never know a more personable, considerate and skilled person. Treats you like you matter. Wish you only the best once tools are down. Fly true LK.
I had a Birmingham Hip Replacement by Professor Kohan & Dr Kerr as a 46 year old in July 2010 as I couldn't walk any distance at all & I was in constant pain even on medication. I am a Strength coach and an ex-Olympian who works with athletes in gyms and needed to be mobile and able to demonstrate exercises. I had recent hip surgery performed by Prof Lawrence Kohan and could not be more pleased with the outcome. From the outset, I was explained the different approaches for surgery and was recommended the Direct Anterior Approach which has the quickest recovery time. I was only in hospital for one night and the pain level was well managed by DR Dennis Kerr, the specialist Anaesthetist.
