The Best! – We have been to Italy four times and our family feels Procopio has the best gelato in Seattle. Others may think the fluffy, highly decorated gelato is how it should look, but that type is chalky and made from a chemical mix not made with fresh, quality ingredients such as Procopio uses. Procopio gelato was being sold at Whole Foods, but they are now making their own. WF was closer for us than driving to Seattle, but their own product is not worth the calories... Back to Seattle we will go!
Small selection, but high quality – I got rice with cinnamon and lychee on a waffle cone for just under $5. My husband got lemon and grapefruit. We were very happy about all the four flavors. The flavors were really close to what the actual fruits taste like. We were surprised how good they are! They are so refreshing without being rich & heavy like regular ice cream. I will definitely go back (don't forget cash)!
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Offering gelato and other Italian desserts--all made in the classic Old World-style.
Can't be beat.... – Locally the best gelateria - out of Gelatiamo and Dolce Vita, that I've tried. Try the milk chocolate flavor, very smooth - low on chalkiness. Wish they were open later....
Amazing authentic gelato! – Truly a rare find in Seattle... An authentic gelateria (Italian Ice-cream/Sorbet - Desserts). Handmade on the premises with fresh ingredients in a delicious variety of flavors. Very romantic in the evenings. You feel welcome to linger over an espresso and dessert with soft music playing in the background.
