They threaten you with thinking they are taking you to court. It’s all a scam!! It may have been a bill I owed 20 years ago. Don’t let them worry you! It’s terrible that they do this!
Threatening calls from debts owed years ago
This company did get over on me a few times. I had a friend call them and they were very unprofessional, plus hung up on my friend. After some months I received and this time the message was saying that they were a private investigator with WA state. Threatening to come and serve me at home or at my place of employment. I will not give them another dime.
On Friday 8/17 I received a phone call from Amanda Spencer. She attempted to threaten me into giving her my credit card information, based on a debt that was over 10 years old. I informed her that my identity had been stolen, and would like to be placed on the do not call list. She refused, and today I received a voicemail from an unknown number. SCAM ALERT!! I received a call from a lady saying her name was Jennifer Walker and that she is an investigator with the state of Arizona. She stated that she had received a fax regarding a check fraud case. And that I would be served with papers at my place of employment or home. When I called the number given I was told about an debt that was 8 years old and had already been remedied.
