Twice I have been to this cleaners to either drop off clothes or pick them up. Each time I am in pickup line, I stand and wait knowing I’m next, then a white person comes in and the attendant rushes over to help them while I’m just standing there. Invisible, I suppose. Twice she has rushed over to help people that just walked in only to be told, “he is next, he was here before me”. Only then do I get waited on.
