We had a blower motor cleaning scheduled for 10-12 on Monday. They never showed up and didn’t call. I reached out and they apologized and said they would send someone out today from 10-12. Once again, no one showed up. Dodged a bullet I guess.

I saw that black dust was gathering near the vent covers. According to technician Tyler, this occurs when pollutants from wall cavities are drawn in by the ducts. He sealed minor leaks in the ducting and cleaned the air ducts, furnace, and mold. Additionally, he cleaned the dryer vent, which had a sizable lint pile close to the outflow. The vents are no longer surrounded by black dust, and the air in the house feels cleaner. I gained a lot of knowledge from his explanations.
