This week I had my first colonoscopy. I didn't know what to expect afterwards so when I ran a fever that night and had terrible abdominal pain the next morning I didn't know if this was normal. I called Dr. Patel's office and despite the fact it was her day off, she called me back and told me to go to the ER. After blood work and CT scan she called me while I was still in the waiting room to explain my results. I am fine now and just want to offer highest praises to Dr. Patel and the staff at Parma Hospital.

I had an emergency stay at UH Parma back in September of 2021. During my stay, Dr. Patel found 2 small ulcers while performing an EGD. She requested a colonoscopy and another EGD to be performed in November, 2021 to find out how the ulcer medication was handling the healing of the ulcers. The ulcers are almost completely healed and my colonoscopy was good. A polyp was found, biopsy benign and I’m all clear.
