I recommend her over the subpar primary care at WMed. Unlike them, she actually did a thorough job detecting what type of thyroid disorder I have by doing ALL of my thyroid hormone levels and an ultrasound. She even recommended appropriate treatment plan options available. I actually have Grave’s disease, according to my lab results. The “doctor” at WMed only measured my TSH, misdiagnosed me with having hypothyroidism, and prescribed me the wrong medication (levothyroxine). Dr. Bikkina is a wonderful and compassionate doctor. She listens to your concerns and truly will get to the bottom of what is going on with her patients health. She listens to her patients and educates them to help them understand the process better. I truly would recommend Dr. Bikkina to anyone experiencing endocrinology/ diabetes issues.
