Privia requires you to give a credit card number regardless if you do not give permission to use the card. The Better Business rating is D+ for privia and not a company you want to have free use of your credit card especially when both of your insurance companies pay. This review is actually for the First Colonial Family Practice and Urgent Care in Virginia Beach, VA. If I could give a ZERO I would. You should all pat yourselves on the back and congratulate yourselves for taking the family practice I have been going to for forty years and in the span of 2 years (Since PRIVIA took over) driving away the practioners, taking the customer service to the basement, eliminating the Urgent Care, reducing the hours and eliminating weekend hours. Professional relationships lack professionalism
This company uses overseas customer service representatives who are difficult to understand, are not polite in the least, and not helpful. Additionally, they take 12% from whatever a physician's practice collects and they fine the doctors if their notes are not closed within 10 days. Nothing but greedy, not patient oriented, and their administrative staff is worthless.
If you Primary uses or changes to Privia, GET OUT !!!! RUN as fast as you can to another provider. Read their reviews !! The epitome of incompetence! Lame representatives who leave you on hold for ages and then do not resolve anything. This is a MICKEY MOUSE operation, which I say because children could do a better job. RUN FROM PRIVIA !!!
I am a MyPriva.com patient at INOVA Internal Mediciene at several locations.This is a serious complaint. I am fed up,like so many others with the inadequacy, and inoperability of the portal. This time it has been out of whack at least four days. Yesterday, it came back up, with the latest of my records in last August.
