I had 5 Strabismus operations between the ages of 4 and 18 and still had a severely turned eye. I won’t name the surgeon because there’s no chance he’s still practicing. The 5th operation was a failure and the eye actually ended up a couple of degrees further off. Lionel is a true gentleman,kind,understanding with a good sense of humour. An amazing Opthalmologist who loves his work and does it extremely well. I now have glasses with prisms which corrects my diplopia and I can see properly again. I cannot thank him enough for such an amazing job.
Due to a car accident I had when I was in my 20’s and as a result I had full double vision and a head tilt for 28 years. Dr Kowal is very approachable, good sense of humour, kind, seemed to be great with the children in his rooms. He answered all my questions and stated the facts on my outcomes. Dr Kowal is very respectable and professional!
Dr Lionel Kowal is the best , eyes down. I had what I call right eye server double vision, after a adjustable suture procedure I had gained what I would say 80% single vision back. That was amazing, trust me. I just had another procedure left eye squint. Second day and 99%, Lionel, Robert and staff are extraordinary. Thank you for giving me me life back. Cheers Lockey
