New Ownership as of 6/1/12 Private Beach Tanning has been open in the city of Covina since 1987. Over 30 years in the tanning business! We offer 10 tanning beds & 4 different levels. We will beat anyone's prices in local areas. Our bulbs are always hot! Tanning beds we offer; 5 Level 1 Beds (which go up to 20 minutes.) 2 Level 2 Beds (which run 12 or 15 minutes.) 1 High-Pressure Stand-Up Bed (10 minutes max.) 2 High-Pressure Bronzing Beds (12 minutes max.) BEST SALON IN THE AREA Best Tanning Salon in the area. The customer service is EXCELLENT! All the girls were extremely nice and helpful. The salon is HUGE!! And they have such a variety of lotion. The tanning beds are a lot newer than tanning salons I have been to in the past and they are hot! (I assume they change the bulbs regularly.) My favorite tanning salon The salon moved to SUCH a better location right across from city hall in downtown covina... more beds, now they have a standup that is HOT!
Long time customer. Not anymore. Private beach tanning moved to College St. Great new location and more beds to choose from, roomier rooms, just nice overall. Sadly customer service doesn't matter to them. I purchased a session pack in which I was told does not expire by a lady with short black hair, slim, dark skin. I tan only when needed because I model occasionally. Therefore purchasing monthly packages does not benefit me. I have always purchased session packs. I show up later, and they tell me "they're expired". She say... read more

Best Tanning Salon I love going to Private Beach Tanning. They customer service representatives are extremely nice. They are very clean and the prices are very economical. They offer monthly pricing, so you can go as many times as you wish and are usually not very booked. It is very convenient.
Nice place This place is clean and the staff is friendly. You can usually get in without an appointment but its best to have one to get the bed you want. Clean and private rooms with radios and fans help make the experience more pleasant. The beds are hot and Im going to assume that they change the bulbs regularly. Recently updating This tanning salon has decent tanning beds with pretty good prices. Overall I am usually able to get in and out very quickly which I like. Staff is friendly.
