I had to have an MRI here because I'm allergic to contrast & claustrophobic. I was told when my appointment was made, the machine would be larger & I should have no problems. I had to leave my house at 10am to be there for my 11am appt on 11/7/24. I waited for 30 to 45 minutes. Finally, my name was called. I was told there was over an hour wait for the larger machines. 8/1/25 here today for a bone density scan and a mammogram. These are recommended every 24 months according to MyChart. Both are done at building A Prisma 200 Patewood Drive. You first complete your check in at the reception desk and wait to be directed to the testing areas. My Bone Density technician Kimberly was very experienced and the procedure was done in 20 minutes.
My experience with every person I came in contact with was extremely pleasant. I called after an order got submitted from my doctor, Ms. Linda called me back the same day within the hour to help me schedule something. Upon arriving I spoke with Tina (I think that’s her name, I’m so sorry), she checked me in quickly and friendly. Kara did my ultrasound and she single-handedly made this seemingly scary experience, a calm one for me. She spoke with care, compassion and empathy. you have a clean facility and a great team.
I had a wonderful experience getting an MRI done. The facility is extremely well kept and clean. Quaint little cafe located in the lobby. The process was quick and the staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable.
