I have had the unfortunate pleasure of requiring Oconee Memorial Hospital's wonderful services over the last 5 years. I really don't understand why it has such a bad rating. Not going to go through all the specifics details, but a 7mm kidney stone, two pancriatitis attacks, an allergic reaction to contrast dye, and accidentally sticking a knife through my hand all required emergency visits. There’s a clear disconnect between the ER and the services provided there. The staff show little concern for patients, and, shockingly, the doctors seem uninformed. They didn’t care about my medical history, made me wait for unnecessary lab tests, and still charged for them. I’ve experienced this kind of poor treatment every single time.
I recently had a hospital stay and I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who cared for me. From the nurses and nurse assistants to the staff who delivered meals, every single person showed not only professionalism but also a wonderful attitude.
