They will not see me because I am a referral from AnMed! And Anmed hand surgeon is gone until next week. Bad people just to leave me in pain without a care.
This office is very unprofessional and the scheduling coordinator is very rude as well as the manager. Would not recommend this office to anyone. The staff really need to learn how to communicate with the public and treat patients as if they were family. I work the medical field as well as they do!
I had a horrible experience here. The doctor barely assessed me and rushed out before I could even ask any questions. My hand is still messed up because the doctor said that I should just use it and see if it goes back to normal and that if it doesn't after two weeks then there is more damage done than initially thought.....what kind of doctor does that? All in all I suggest not going here and requesting a different establishment if you get a referral for a hand specialist.
Extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hand Center. I have been dealing with this pain for almost a year. A doctor at the hand center assessed my hand and did x-rays. I have moderate osteoarthritis with a subluxation of my left thumb of 50% or more. I may be a 42 year old woman and I may not have gone to medical school but I know that osteoarthritis is not curable. I am 6 weeks post operation for carpel tunnel release surgery and the staff and Dr. Swathwood are great! Knowledgeable, caring and attentive.
