I called in to see if a different payment plan can be set up. They allow payment plans for only a year - which causes you to pay a high bill. I went in for a delivery which was a great experience but the billing and payment was switched multiple times. I emailed in - no help - they just tell you what their policies are. You can call in - no help either. When you call in, they offer their payment option or a 3rd parter with interest, or collections.
My husband w was referred to the neurology at Richland and the doctor requested to have a MRI done and they cannot refer you out or will not refer you to Palmetto imaging or no other place. They want you to have it done at the hospital so they can collect more money. I don’t understand why they cannot make a phone call text or just an email to Palmetto imaging so my husband can get the MRI done. This is terrible work workers that cannot or will not do that. Worst healthcare facility there is.
I am very disappointed with Prisma. Never have I felt more like a number when seeking care. Efforts to seek help through patient advocacy have been futile. If you live in Greenville, consider looking elsewhere for your health care needs.
Worse facility to work with. Long story short blue cross blue shield paid a bill. So did accrue for same bill. They owe us over a thousand dollars. Have excuse after excuse why they haven't refunded the money. They will acknowledge their is an overpayment but will not return the money. But damn if you owe them money they want it right now. For 2 months been getting the run around.
