They closed the Juneau location, just called them
2 weeks ago I made an appointment with Prism optical for today April 6th at 6pm. I got there it was dark and locked, so I called them and the girl I spoke to said they had closed permanently!
Still waiting on a refund from January, now office is closed and space is for rent. Leaving me with no way to contact them.
I put off an eye exam so long I literally could not legally purchase contact lenses in the US without a new one b/c my last exam (down South) was... not great. I was so pleasantly surprised! Prism is a lovely little shop. The opticians were friendly and informed me of sales and deals without being pushy. I wasn't in the market for frames, but browsing during a brief wait I saw several frames that made me go, hmmm. I thought the exam was very thorough and I felt listened to, and all in all, 5 stars!
Over three months ago I visited Prism where they told me they'd take my insurance and send it off. Both people were very friendly and the optometrist was profesional and answered all my questions. I paid them $657 for their service (eye exam and new glasses) on the spot. Since then I've called them multiple times inquiring if my insurance info was ever sent.
