I do not recommend using this service. I quit my job here because the company doesn't care for patient or staff safety and wellbeing. The medical neglect shown by PPTS is astonishing. The ambulances were often in disrepair. They often did not provide the resources and equipment for us to do our job properly if anything were to happen on route. My mom was recently transferred from Ottawa to Renfrew hospitals. She said that she didn't feel like she was properly secured to the stretcher and that the stretcher wasn't properly secured to the vehicle. It was cold and she couldn't ask for another blanket on the 90 minute drive because the attendant was up front with the driver leaving her alone rattling around in dark in the back of the vehicle. They get one star for having a digital click in the back so she could guess where they were on the drive based on the time.
