If only there was a way to give this a 0 for stars. My grandfather was transported from Ottawa general to kemptville hospital Friday February 28th in the evening. There was supposed to be an employee in the back with him but the second driver got in the passenger seat and closed the window so that my grandfather could not talk to them if there were to be an issue. We were called out in a snow storm to winch this company out of the ditch and now we cant get paid, first they said they were paying with credit card, then they said the cheque was cut then they said they had no idea what we were talking about. Seems to be a trend with Transfer Services
The driver talked on the phone from the moment he picked me up from the Civic Hospital till I got home. Didn't pay attention to me. I was wrapped in blankets in freezing weather. Your drivers need training in how to give the patient priority and treat them with patience and good care.
If there was 0 zero star that is what I would give this company. My 97 year old mother was transported by ambulance to Queensway Carleton on Sep 23rd, on her return to her nursing home, the hospital called this company to transport her back. The young man that came to pick her up was the rudest person I ever met. When he arrived he was uncooperative, unprofessional and when I asked him a question he told me he knew how to do his job and I should not be asking him anything.
