A big shout out to Paediatrician Dr Gamage, who has been an invaluable help for our family for the past few years. We cant thank him enough for taking the time to include regional/county trips to his busy schedule for SA kids. Dr Gamage has been very responsive in times of need, and helped us navigate several complex situations. We know he has the wellbeing of our kids at the heart of what he does, and obviously has a passion for his work. Thank you Dr Lalith
This review is purely a reflection on their reception/admin staff. Clearly they either aren't doing their job or the organisation has not hired enough to meet their needs. They NEVER answer their phone. It goes straight to hold then after 6 minutes on hold it hangs up. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is. This is not a new thing either. I had the exact same experience over 12 months ago. When you are an organisation that is dealing with sick children this unacceptable and needs to be escalated further.
We recently attended Priority Paediatrics in Victor Harbor for my son’s ADHD assessment with Dr Gamage, and I could not be more grateful for the thorough and professional care we received. Dr Gamage conducted an extremely comprehensive assessment. My child attended this clinic and was prescribed medication without my advised attendance/ prior knowledge. As a parent with shared parental responsibility, I would have appreciated being included in the consultation and decision-making process. I reached out several times to request clarification and further discussion, however I found communication with the practice difficult and did not receive a response. There should be a negative/minus star rating option for these guys, they are an absolute joke of a company! Call me if you have a spare 30min-1hr in your life. Every step of dealing with these guys was ridiculous, they are not a professional company at all. Staff at reception give you miss leading information and have no idea what is going. Each time I spoke with someone they gave me different information, when I gave them important information they never made note of it.
